  The women working there was kind and inquisitive, which was appreciated. However, the male owner does the buying and was extremely disrespectful and rude. We stopped by on a whim to show the owners a few specimens we had picked up on our travels. He referred to our mineral specimens and gemstones as “worthless” and “ugly”. The owner went out of his way to be pompous and degrading. After treating us as such, my boyfriend mentioned he deals with high-end jewelry (diamonds and rare stones), and suddenly the owner took interest. We decided against taking his business card.
